OUR STORY
Terri, Stephanie, and the rest of us here at Salon Nouveau have been serving our fabulous clientele for over 25 years, and we're thrilled to style them for years to come! Terri and Stephanie met as stylists at the iconic 30th Off Grand. They hit it off, and in January 1997, they partnered up to create our very own Salon Nouveau in downtown Spokane.
We specialize in creating your best personal image through integrity, excellence, and education. We believe simplicity is the essence of beauty, that creativity can unlock your potential. Great hair should be everyone's reality.
Every stylist at Salon Nouveau completes an intense training program before working with clients, and we don't stop there - we all continue our education with extensive, ongoing employee training. As a result, our stylists are more skilled in their art and are able to bring customers an unmatched level of service and professionalism.

THE TEAM
Terri Brazil Eagon
Owner | Stylist
Terri has been a force in the hair industry for more than 30 years, but her artistic dreams began when she was just ten. She always knew she wanted to work in the hair and fashion industries: "I love to make people feel beautiful about themselves!" Before she became the co-owner of Salon Nouveau, she was the artistic director for Salon au Post and 30th Off Grand in Spokane. She is a former member of the prestigious Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team travelling the United States and Canada, and she has studied under Vivienne Mackinder, Trevor Sorbie, and Vidal Sasoon in London. She is also an elite member of the Great Lengths USA hair extension service.
Terri believes that ongoing education and training is the key to success in this ever-changing industry, which is why she created Salon Nouveau's Precision Haircutting Class. All of our apprentices learn the craft under her tutelage.
Outside of the salon, you can find her perusing the latest fashions or hanging out with her husband, Sean, and their rambunctious nine-year-old boy.

Stephanie Sather
Owner | Stylist
As one of the owners of Salon Nouveau, Stephanie has specialized in hair coloring for almost 30 years - which is crazy, considering she’s only 25! Her love of color started out, ironically, when her own hair was accidentally turned black in high school. Since then, Stephanie has had extensive training and has learned from some of the best colorists in the world. The ability to change someone’s look and self esteem in an instant is extremely gratifying to her. She loves the relationships she’s built with her clients over the years, many of whom she calls friends.
Married to her high school sweetheart, she has two grown children who are both currently in college.

Chris Leigh*
Stylist
Chris has been with Salon Nouveau since 1997. A technical theatre major, he has always been interested in the elements of design but chose hair cutting & styling to hone in on. He has taken extensive masterclasses from the industry's finest educators and artists. He does beautiful, clever color to accent his precision hair cutting and loves to initiate change within his clientele. If you are looking for someone confident to shift your look, Chris is your stylist! He loves doing fashion forward styling and textures and his work has been featured in many local bridal and advertising campaigns. Nominated by The Inlander as one of Spokane’s best stylists. Published by Oribe’s Rough Luxury Magazine.

Scotta Christlieb*
Stylist
Scotta has always loved a connection with people; she loved having her own hair done and the conversations she would have with her hairdresser. So, she decided to became a hairdresser herself! She got her training from Vidal Sassoon academy in California, and she’s been a leader in haircutting for almost 30 years.
On her off-time, she enjoys watching her son play Lacrosse, hanging with her daughter, and following the Zags with her husband, the love of her life, wherever they are playing.

Lizzie Chambers
Stylist
Lizzie has been doing hair for 15 years, and her job remains her most cherished creative outlet. She gets to be artistic while simultaneously making people feel pampered and loved. She adores the opportunity to make so many lasting relationships.
Outside of the salon, you can find her wrangling her three-year-old daughter with red hair and a spicy personality to match.

Brooke Bircher
Stylist
Brooke was born and raised in Spokane (go Zags!). She's been doing hair since 2015. She loves working in a team environment, so Salon Nouveau felt right to her. She loves doing color and cuts, as well as Brazilian Blowouts. Smooth, shiny, and healthy hair is what she aims for.
In her spare time, she loves playing with her dogs, hanging out with family, and collecting house plants!

Rylee Fuentes
Stylist
Rylee is our newest addition to the team, but she's been in hair for much longer; she has eight years of working experience in the hair industry. She loves to do color - blondes to rainbows to corrections. She most enjoys being able to bring joy to her clients!
In her spare time, she loves games of all sorts: video, tabletop, you name it!

Joe Larson*
Stylist
One of our most experienced stylists, Joe has been a hairdresser for almost forty years - minus a decade-long stint in fashion design somewhere in the middle. (He actually met our owner, Terri, in beauty school!) He is fresh off the boat from Sweden and full of jokes.

Kaeley Myklebust
Apprentice Stylist
Kaeley was born in Spokane, but she grew up in Northern California. Now she's back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest to pursue cosmetology! She graduated from Glen Dow Academy in April of 2022, and she's so excited to learn, expand her skills, and play with hair. She thinks it's so fun to see the end result of her hard work, and having the person in her chair feel extra beautiful is the icing on the cake.
In her free time, Kaeley loves going to the lake and doing anything active. She's also on the hunt for new restaurants and breweries to add to her ever-growing list of favorites!
Kaiti Desormier
Support
Kaiti is thrilled to be starting as front-desk manager at Salon Nouveau. She loves helping all of our clients with anything they need. Born in Texas, she moved to Spokane with her family as a teenager. In her spare time, you can find her watching movies with her cat.
Jackson Sather
Support
Jackson is a junior at the University of Washington where he is majoring in marine biology, with a plan to minor in environmental science. In his spare time you’ll find him with his cat.
Sydney Sather
Support
Sydney is currently a student at Eastern Washington University where she is finishing up her degree in health psychology. She is also the JV basketball coach at Freeman high school. She hopes to be a sports psychologist upon the completion of school.
